"How To Make Left-Wing Jewelry was originally intended as a book; but was finally published as a set of postcards. The notion was to contemporise the traditional still-life format. Although, some of the images illustrated deal with the art world, most are visualizations of text from newspapers and magazine articles. For instance, there is the inclusion of one man's description of his initial induction into the Irish Republican Army. His mother and sister were sent out of the room, a bible laid on the table, a gun on top of the bible, and his hand placed on both as he swore allegiance to that cause." D.B. 2003
